The learning progression for addition and subtraction describes the development of student learning for the K-2 strand of addition and subtraction.  This course houses materials meant to support the work of teachers who have been trained on the learning progression and who use that progression to inform instruction.  These materials can be used during small group and one-on-one intervention with students.

This course is designed to allow you to learn about the Next Generation Science Standards at your own pace. The content is the same as the moderated NGSS-D1 online course. However, there is no corresponding face to face component, there are no quizzes, and the assignments are optional.

The other main difference is there are no SCECH credits or college credits associated with the open version of the course.
